SpookyDan on tour: The Repo Road Tour 3!!!

When was the last time you had a blast in a movie theater?

For me, over the course of the past 3 months I have seen Repo in the Theaters about 6 times ( I paid for 5 of them). I know it may seem obsessive, (and excessive), but it’s not very often that a film like this comes along. Like many of the other Repo fans I have been spreading the word and making repo “stuff”; a 3 minute Repo puppet film, a few different t-shirts and writing blogs like this. I love this movie. The songs, the FX, the actors…I have become a superfan. Director Darren Bousman and Terrence Zdunich invited me to come along on the Repo Road Tour 3 to run the preshow and help out with various publicity stuff, and autograph signings. So starting Wednesday, me and my trusty video camera will be at each and every screening of the film as it travels across the country! As a horror guy online I don’t get a chance to meet Bloody Disgusting readers, and other horror fans as often as I would like, but when I was given this chance to actually meet you I jumped at it.

I am nervous as hell because I have not done much public speaking, so if I suck at this job, please forgive me… I’m new at this sort of thing. But I cant explain how excited I am to meet more people that are obsessed, new people who have only heard about the film and especially the horror fans!

The rumor is that in Phoenix there will be a shadow cast acting along with the film, and I know that a bunch of the cast members are going to make surprise appearances along the way. Unlike Conventions where you pay to show up, pay to shop, and pay to meet your favorite celebs; On The Repo Raod Tour, all you need is a ticket to a movie. It’s a great deal and the tickets are going fast..in Los Angeles I couldn’t even log into the website to buy tickets!
